Remove.pages extension and enter.zip as the extension and press enter. Open the zip file, and it should allow you to open the file and its contents. This is my method to edit pages files on my Windows Laptop First, make sure you see file extensions. Go to Windows File Explorer, on the View Ribbon, and check the box marked File Name Extensions. Open Terminal and restart the Quick Look daemon for the plugin to load: qlmanage -r. Find any zip file in the Finder, select it, then hit the Spacebar to view the contents; The viewed zip (or other archive) will look like the following, you can interact with folders and hierarchies to dig deeper into archive formats if desired.

Does anybody know of a Windows program that will decompress Mac .zip (gz) files reliably? I've Tried StuffIt Standard for Windows but it quits every time with a warning, 'Engine Error:Internal Error.' Sure, I can make .sit files on the Mac and use Stuffit to expand them in Windows, but that's not the solution I'm looking for. If I already have a Mac .zip file on my Windows PC is there any way to open it without using a Mac?
I've searched these forums but all my searches come up with answers to the opposite question: How do I open Windows .zip files on my Mac?
